"X" is for eXtra food - you can never have enough (had to resort to this as there didn't appear to be any words beginning with "X" that our cat friend approved of.  He has no inclination to play the xylophone or sail on a xebec.).

A couple of months ago I visited Cannon Beach, OR.  I went rather berserk painting views of the wonderfully photogenic Haystack Rock and surrounding environs; this is the first in a run of seventeen.
