The banner for this blog is from a painting done of the countryside around Bruges, Belgium. My husband and I traveled to there, as well as other parts of Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, last spring (2009), and many of the paintings I've done since then are from views collected during that trip. Here's the entire painting, 21 September 2009 - Benelux series. The original is 18"x24", painted with acrylics on 140 lb cold press watercolor paper.
