I did a smaller version of this view back in February 2012 (in and around Valldemossa - 27).

Recently I've been doing these new versions of some of the views from our trip to Mallorca in 2011 because I thought they deserved a larger format; most of the original paintings from that trip were 8" x 10".

I've been rediscovering how fun it is to paint on a larger scale, not only rediscovering but pushing my limits to even larger sizes.  If it weren't for the cost and storage issues, I think I'd go even more nuts with painting larger paintings.
